Day 1
Depart from New York or Washington, DC for your flight to Johannesburg, South Africa on South African Airways.
Day 2
On arrival at Johannesburg’s Oliver Tambo International Airport, collect your luggage and then clear customs and immigration. You will be met by a South African Airways Vacations representative who will assist and escort you to the Domestic Terminal for your flight to Cape Town.
Upon your arrival at Cape Town Airport you will be met transferred to your hotel. (Choice of two.)
The Cape Cadogan Hotel The Cape Cadogan is a stately double-storied Georgian and Victorian building that dates back to the beginning of the 19th century. It was originally a farmhouse which was ‘Victorianized’ in 1912 and declared a national monument in 1984.
This boutique hotel is well known for its comfortable, luxurious atmosphere. Our reception areas are individually decorated and designed for comfort and tranquility. It is themed on the Irish literary figure Oscar Wilde who was renowned for his bohemian lifestyle throughout Europe and New York during the latter part of the 19th century.
The public areas comprise a comfortable lounge with an open fireplace, a garden and pool area, and a library where you can relax and read or research your itinerary from the computer terminal provided for your convenience.

Day 4
Another day of leisure to perhaps explore the famous Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, or to arrange to go on one of the many day tours in and around the city.

Today is your last full day in Cape Town for last minute shopping or a visit to one of the many places of interest.
Cape Town is a marvelous combination of natural beauty and historic and cultural sites, offering world-class museums and bustling markets, inviting beaches and lush gardens, as well as great restaurants and wonderful shopping.

Day 6
You will be transferred from your hotel to Cape Town Airport in time for your flight to Johannesburg. At Johannesburg Airport connect with your Federal Air flight to Mpumalanga where you will be met and transferred to your lodge.
Lion Sands River Lodge is positioned on a site with trees dating back 800 years. The Lodge is about spirit, warmth, nature and relaxation, hosted by a family of staff that will make it feel like home away from home. The Lodge has been built on the banks of the Sabie River. There are 18 luxurious thatched bedrooms with en-suite bathroom, outdoor and inside shower and wooden viewing deck. All rooms are air-conditioned and have a mini-bar and telephone. The interior is tranquil with pebble-inlaid floors in the bathroom.
Each bedroom has its own deck with a view of the Sabie River and is linked to all areas by raised wooden walkways. The Lodge has a private lounge and bar, two swimming pools, wooden viewing decks, a secluded bird hide, private hammocks, conference room, health spa, curio shop, and both an indoor and open-air Boma (dining area).
