Depart from New York or Washington, DC for your flight to Cape Town, South Africa via Johannesburg on South African Airways.

Upon arrival at Johannesburg's Oliver Tambo International Airport, collect your luggage and then clear Customs & Immigration. Make your way to the Domestic Terminal for your flight to Cape Town.

On arrival you will be met by a South African Airways Vacations representative and transferred to your hotel.

Cape Town offers historic and cultural sites, world-class museums and bustling markets, inviting beaches and lush gardens, as well as great restaurants and wonderful shopping. While South Africa is perhaps best known for its game parks and natural splendors, it is also a land whose cities exude urban sophistication, rich history, the arts, entertainment and other cosmopolitan delights.

Today you will be transferred from your hotel to Cape Town Airport in time for your flight to Durban. On arrival you will be met and taken by road transfer to Mkuze Falls.

The Mkuze Falls private Game Reserve is beautifully situated in the heart of historic Zululand in the South African province of KwaZulu Natal. Mkuze Falls is one of only two Private Game Reserves in the region where you can view the 'Big Five' - Lion, Buffalo, Rhino, Elephant and Leopard. It is also a bird lover's paradise.

Mkuze Falls Lodge is located along the northern bank of the Mkuze River, in the heart of KwaZulu Natal. Overlooking the Mkuze Waterfall, the Lodge features nine luxuriously appointed Thatched Chalets and one Safari Suite, accommodating eighteen guests in utmost comfort and Style. Each of these rooms has a breathtaking view of the river, bush and mountains. Wake up early and experience your first morning game drive. Game drives at Mkuze  Falls take place in the early morning and late afternoon/early evening. The game drives are led by experienced game rangers and trained nature guides. You will find that the expertise of the rangers and guides is invaluable as they have an amazing ability to spot game in situations where the untrained eye sees nothing.

Mkuze Falls Private Game Reserve is host to an impressive variety of wildlife. Discover the richness and diversity of this part of the world where the unique ecosystems of riverine, wetland, lowveld bushveld and montane grassland provide the diversity and large quantity of bird and animal species.  After a lazy day comparing notes on what animals you’ve seen, get ready for your afternoon game drive.

Today you will have a morning and an afternoon game drive.

Experience the unique richness that this peaceful part of Africa has to offer. It is a place of pure tastes and simple delights, celebrating the thrill of nature. This is the place with the sound and beauty of water falling...... seeping into your soul.

The reserve is home to the ‘Big Five’ as well as cheetah, hippo and a vast number of plains game. For ornithologists and bird-lovers, Mkuze Falls and its wetlands are an absolute must. There are more than 400 species of birds in the area, and more specifically, the reserve is home to the Fish Eagle, Giant Kingfisher, Narina Trogon and the spectacular Purple-crested Lourie to mention a few.

Today you will take a General Airways flight directly from Mkuze Falls to Sabi Sabi Private Game Reserve. On arrival you will be met and transferred to Sabi Sabi Bush Lodge.

Sabi Sabi Bush Lodge is situated in the Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve, within the southern section of the Kruger National Park. The Lodge is set in the heart of the bushveld, overlooking a river plain and waterhole where animals regularly come to drink. Enjoy a late afternoon/evening game drive.

It is an all-suite, exclusive lodge offering 25 suites designed and furnished in a contemporary, yet ethnic, style. A sense of space and light pervades each suite, while high thatch and discreet air-conditioning provides a cool escape during the warmer months. External walls, the color and texture of wet elephant hide, and the artistic interior and exterior use of indigenous slate for floors, bathroom walls and outside patios reflects an amber, grey and ochre palette, ensuring that Bush Lodge is unobtrusive and blends perfectly with the surrounding bushveld. Enjoy an early morning game drive in an open safari vehicle in this wildlife paradise. Spend the hottest part of the day relaxing around the pool or on comfortable wooden chairs overlooking a water-hole. In the late afternoon/evening go on another safari under the guidance of Sabi Sabi’s qualified game rangers and renowned Shangaan trackers.

Sabi Sabi Bush Lodge offers exciting game drives in open 4x4 safari vehicles. At daybreak, guests meet for a welcoming cup of coffee before embarking on a dawn safari. Exceptional game viewing has always been a trademark of Sabi Sabi, and the cahnges of seeing the 'Big Five' - Lion, Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo and Leopard - are excellent. The Reserve shares a common unfenced boundary with the Kruger National Park and sustains the diverse fauna and flora of the area, with one of the highest and most bio-diverse wildlife populations of any area in Africa.

After an early morning game drive to track the animals that may have eluded you so far, followed by breakfast, you will be transferred to the Sabi Sabi Airstrip for your Federal Air flight to Johannesburg. On arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel.
