Today you will be taken by road
transfer from Shamwari Townhouse to Shamwari Game Reserve

Lodge or Eagles Crag Lodge, including all meals and drinks

tranquility. The Lodge's position in the valley makes it
very shady, which makes it a wonderful summer destination.
The décor is very modern and not in a typical safari lodge
style. Each of the 9 lovely, big en-suite rooms has been
named after a different kind of eagle found in the Reserve
and has an oil painting of that eagle in it. Decorated in
light and contemporary colors, with wall-to-wall glass doors
on two sides, these rooms provide stunning views of the
surrounding cliffs, and have been built to maximize the
privacy of the guest in the most tranquil of settings. Each
room has its own private deck and plunge pool with an
uninterrupted view of the bush. The Lodge houses its own
Wellness Spa and facilities also include a dining area,
library, business center, lounge & cocktail bar.
OR
Lobengula Lodge is a truly traditional
African experience. Tucked deep in the valley bushveld, this
thatched ethnically decorated lodge offers guests a

Shop, Gym, Steam Room, Wine Cellar and Bush lapa for dining
under the stars. The lodge serves lavish meals either on the
main deck or in the outside boma. A selection of fine South
African wines from its cellar and well-trained staff ensure
a high quality of service and satisfaction.
After a game drive guests can relax, swim or enjoy a drink
at the pool bar. The magnificent wooden deck overlooking the
dense African bush is beautifully appointed for meals or
mystical African storytelling in front of the fireplace.

workout in the gym.Accommodations: Eagles

situated in the Malaria-Free Eastern Cape. The reserve is
the ultimate African adventure and conservation effort
coupled with responsible tourism. Shamwari is

natural extension to the famous Garden Route. The
reserve contains all of the “Big Five” - Lion, Elephant,
Rhino, Buffalo and Leopard - as

forms of plant, animal and bird life. Each vehicle has a
